NATIONAL BIOBANK OF
KOREA
Korea Biobank Project (KBP) has been promoted by the National Biobank of Korea (NBK) of the National
Institute of Health of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency since 2008. It aims to collect
and manage human bioresources that would be highly utilized for future healthcare R&D, distribute the
bioresources to researchers in Korea, and resultantly contribute to facilitating healthcare research
and developing relevant industries.
